In oneor two shops (esp Freebee ones) you can have rooms and rooms very high stacked full of images of items.
A few times, rather than having to keep my avatar flying at the right height and keep bumping into others. I've just sat down out the way and moved my camera viewpoint around.
What I have noticed a number of times is that things won't fully rex, or sometimes things will just stay invisible to your camera viewpoint. But if you moved your avatar there, then they would show no problem.
Is there anyway round this, to force things to rez to your viewpoint location rather than your avator location?

Just hoping someone might know this.
Just to fill in a little more information.
I've tried occasionally browsing BIG areas (where you have images of things for sale, many stories high) using the flying cam on my Space Navigator 3D.
But as I said, I often seem to find if you move too far away quite a few items won't rez to for you (camera viewpoint) Esp if it's an area your avator has not LOOKED at or been in already.
There does not seem to be any logic to it. Some prims will show, whilst others won't rez.
If I fly my Avatar there, and then move back to my starting locaton, THEN flycam there, THEN I can see everything.
Is there any way to make things REZ to your current viewpoint as opposed to your avatar location?

I don't think so. The agent's "interest list" is an arcane thing that has been tinkered with in various releases, but I don't think there's any way to move its center without moving the agent. What does and doesn't rez isn't that unpredictable, though, at least in my experience: the smaller something is, the closer to it one needs to get. (I remember scripting a nifty particle effect, but making the mistake of putting it in a tiny prim--resulting in nobody seeing the particles because they never got near enough to rez the emitting prims.)

Thanks for the reply.
It does seem odd what does and does not rez at times.
From my experience, Avatars always seem to rez, however parts of structure may or may not rez.
I will do a bit of experimenting tonight at my place to see if I can spot any logic to the rez/not rez decision. sometimes however, something small may rez (to my camera location) whilst something big larger has not rezzed also your camera can be right up against an item and it will never rez.
But moving your avatar around so you can then see if (with your avatars eyes) then means you can move your camera viewpoint to that location and see it also.
