I totally screw my av up

ok..I was playing around in the advanced thingy..and I totally screw up..I went into the Character list and hit the test male character thing and my Av turned into a nuub looking guy..I figured what the heck..and loaded my own shape then to my surprise..I couldn't get rid of the hair or the eye..I'm not having a good day here..How can I get my av's back? I didn't save anything but I don't want to go thru life as a nuub..Help Please..

Go into your library folder and find one of the default skins and shape.........wear them. It should put you back to square one. Then search for "free skins" in search.........you'll find plenty out there. Free dove is a good place to visit........search for that too.

And when you get a litle more aquainted with SL go shopping for real and find what you want to represent you in this virtual world.

A good suggestion, although on the basis of 'after the horse has bolted, lock the gate'... go into appearances and use the Make Outfit button, then give it a unique name, add the date into the name, then save, choosing all the items you want included. This will save everything into a folder of the name you used. After that, always use the 'Save As', or make outfit function agin, when you make any changes to that base setup.

NOTE: Any items you are wearing that are not copiable, will only be transfered out of its native folder into the one your created. If copiable, it will be replicated. Any No Mod items, will not show in the 'Save As' inventory and will be greyed out.

To get back to that base look, simply drag that whole folder out of your inventory onto yourself, or righthand click that folder and choose Wear. It will automatically replace everything, including shape and skin etc, that you are wearing, with the elements within that folder.
