I noticed that my voting booth stopped emailing me with the fact that I get a vote everyday. It was because I set my land to ban all outside scripts. Someone suggested that it might be good to allow scripts on objects you own, not just your own scripts.

Yes...yes it does, and it also disables any doors you have on your properties I found this out after i had built the main structure of my house lol....and was wondering why the hell i couldn't click on the voting booth to see how many votes i'd got that day I think it needs to be changed so that we're still allowed to run our own scripts...

This carries some serious impact with it. In the scripting and features forums, there have been threads about how to protect scripts for sale. But this could just devastate the script market entirely the way scripts are now. If the only way a user can run a script on their land is to turn off the very protection the require to have sanity on their own turf, now it is a contest of the scripter's need to make money versus the owner/buyer's need not to get shot by the frivilous and griefers. And guess who wins THAT contest? (Hint: not the scripters!)
Ok LL, I know that you are burning candles at both ends and the middle for implementation of features and functionality. With the recent elevation in the (new arrival) populace's desire for better war apparatus, structure and mechanisms, there has been a push to service that need. An equally strong push needs to be made for the non-warmongering types to service their needs as well. This script thing is getting uglier as the moments go by.
