Just an FYI. Recently i was accepted into the SL closed beta. After watching my gf play night after night i was sooo excited to finally get my shot! Well, i got home from work, waited till 7 pm est, and in i went! What happend next was somewhat odd, ppl started im'ing me thinking they were talking to my gf's character. Some how the "lines" got crossed and i was recieving all of the network traffice back from the servers. I tried to think of everything i possible could to figure out what the "heck" was going on. Finally, tonight, after much prompting from my gf to "get this fixed", it occured to me that i had placed my computer on the "DMZ" in the linksys's settings, so that i could remote desktop to my machine from work. Changing this back to the default of xxx.xxx.xxx.0 for NO "DMZ" host resolved the problem. Lesson learned? When multipule ppl are playing SL behind a Linksys Cable/DSL router, ensure that the "DMZ" host feature is turned off!

Lindens... could you make it so that we can set which port to use... ie comp#1 port 27015 comp#2 port 27016... (like HL)
