I have a new LCD monitor 24" .. landscaped widescreen.
Attempts of regular shots to disk leave out 3/4 of the shot. I can manipulate it by "zooming out" but it makes it difficult to "snap" shots where I find facial expressions imperative because I can't really see the expression until after I look at the shot on disk. Pain in the arse!
Is there a solution for this?

Turn off the Hi-Res Snapshot option under the Advanced menu. It's busted in 1.23.4.
