basically i opened a ticket with support and they told me that my graphics card just meets the minimum requirements for running second life. keep in mind my graphics card is up-to-date and my computer is fairly new (bought it in september) so basically this tells me pretty soon second life will be out of bounds for anyone running an Intel 965 Express Chipset Family graphics card. should i contact Toshiba and ask them to re-assemble my computer with a better graphics card? im not sure what to do, need some help with the issue... i dont have lag in world btw... and was told to put my settings where they currently are. any help would be appreciated.

Is that a laptop? If so I would return it for a machine with Nvidia graphics or an update of the graphics part if possible. In case of a PC you are likely better off with buying a good graphics card yourself. I'd expect Toshiba to charge a hefty price otherwise. Please stay away from ATi, that's about as good supported as Intel graphics from SL .

yeah its a laptop. its actually a really good one. SL is the only place that seems to want to start an issue with my graphics driver. even tho i have no issues with graphics whatsoever. the crashing problem sounds like a program error in the client.
atm im short on money... so basically im SOL if i dont want to spend any more money than i already did? :-/
