I installed windows 7 not too long ago and I've tryed I don't know how many times to get sl to work, but I always get the same message which says: "Second Life is unable to run because of your video card drives did not install properly, are out of date, or are for unsuppored hardware. Please make sure you have the latest video card drivers and even if you have the latest, try reinstalling them" Which when I checked all my stuff met the requirements and are all working properly and everything. I don't have the disks to reinstall them, what do I do?

More system info might be useful, the use info about what hardware you have, for starters, particulary such things as what video card you have, brand and model of computer, etc.
Have you updated your video drivers from the nVidia site, the ATI site, the laptop manufacturer's site, as appropriate, or are you using the video drivers that Win 7 installed? _____________________

Never install drivers from a disk. Drivers get updated all the time, and it's really important to make sure you keep up with that. A disk sitting on a shelf is, by definition, NOT up to date. It was probably out of date by the time it left the factory floor for the warehouse. Always download drivers from your GPU manufacturer's website.
Now, just so you understand what likely happened, when you installed Windows 7, it probably installed a Windows generic video driver, just to ensure that you can see SOMETHING on your screen. To use the full features of your video card, upon many of which SL directly depends in order to function, you need to install a real driver, not just a generic one. If you're not sure where to go to get the latest drivers for your specific system, list the specs, and we can tell you exactly where to find them. Also, for best results, always run DriverCleaner or Driver Sweeper prior to installing new drivers (and make sure to follow the instructions). This will remove all traces of your pre-existing drivers, to help ensure clean installation of the new ones. Installing new drivers right on top of old ones is not generally a good idea. _____________________
