Whenever i go to file, upload, and then pick either image or sound, sl crashes. This happens after i select an image or audio file... or even if i cancel out and don't select one. What should i do?

What viewer are you using? I crashed uploading something using Emerald, then tried again with the regular viewer and it worked fine. That might have been a coincidence.

Bumping won't help get you an answer.

Listing computer specs (including graphics card/chipset), connection type, operating system, how recent your drivers are, and such information might though.

Macbook Pro, less then a year old. Connection is cable modem. Operating system is the mac one. Graphics card is whatever the mac comes with.

I have a Windows based Intel desktop. Also on a cable connection. This machine is over 2 1/2 years old. Vista with SP1. And a good graphics card.

How much did I just tell you about my computer that would be of much use at all in any troubleshooting? Not enough?

Yeah, I thought so.

Good luck on your issue.

See http://jira.secondlife.com/browse/VWR-14800 and also the "related to" bugs linked from there. There are some workarounds in the comments, but they don't necessarily cover all the possible cases.
