I hear that changing the settings for your graphics card can make a huge difference, anyone know what settings i should change or mess with?

having had an MX card, all I can say is the thing that makes the most difference is getting a new card. Find someone with a nice card and ask them to pass you images of the ground and you'll see what I mean. Other than that, I'm not sure what to tell you, sorry.
