Okay, so when I log into sl this is what happens. I take longer then usual to log in, longer then usual for textures to load. And then none of the plot info pops up. My AO doesnt work so i act in regular default settings for SL. Everyone else around me acts in default settings for sl. I have no plot details to the land when I know there are some. I have no audio or music available when I am standing next to those that tell me they do and I know mine is all checked to be enabled. I can not teleport anywhere without crashing mid process.
Here is what I have done to try and fix the problem: I have restarted my computer I have cleared all caches in SL I have even asked the sim owner for a restart of the location I have shut down and walked away and come back later I have restarted my internet I have uninstalled/reinstalled sl I have left sl alone for a while and come back to the same issues I have run virus programs I have run other games just fine I have made sure all my software is up to date
I have never ever had this issue in the past three years of using SL. I know it is not the internet.

Try taking off scripted items make sure bandwidth isn't set too high in preferences If using XP try ping sl in start menu, RUN...type: ping secondlife.com or try: tracert secondlife.com Take a look if any nodes are screwing things up with real slow connect times. If black cmd screen shuts too fast type: cmd and hit enter then the black command (cmd) screen will stay open for you to do the tracert or ping
SL suggest you try flying up 200 meters then tp out
Good luck

Resetting your modem and/or router would be a good thing to try. Simple, fast, and clears up a lot of issues such as this.
Unplug the devices from their electrical source, leave them unplugged for 3 to 5 mins, plug back in, let the lights settle to their normal blinking routine, reboot your computer, and try SL again.
