I just got a new computer, and I'm confused in how to displayed "Advanced" in the menu bar at the top of the screen in SL. Before, I used to hit Ctrl+Alt+D and it would show up, but unfortunately those keystrokes are reserved for something else in this computer. Is there a way to click to the advanced menu another way? I'd really appreciate someone's help!

How about temporarily disabling whatever application or service is using those keys? Then just enable the Advanced menu in SL. Afterward, you can re-enable the other app or service, since presumably you won't be hitting those same keys in SL again. You want the Advanced menu to stay on, right?

Alternatively, I'm sure you could probably edit one of the settings files in your SL directory, to enable or disable anything you want. I've never tested, though.

Sometimes the left and right shift keys cause a different response. Try using <left-ctrl>-<left-alt>-<left shift>-D, if that don't work try the <right ctrl>-<right alt>-<right shift)-d
