Ever since the last update I have two windows running now, one the standard SL window which means I am in the SL program. When I first sign on a second window appears with the running scripts. If I close out that second window it closes SL down. I never had this before. It appears to be the same as a feedback report when SL crashes. It runs all the the time. I am not sure if I have did something to the settings in preferences or not.

I did and still need to know if I can clear every thing from the screen to shot videos. I am able to hide all HUDS for the top and bottom bars still show. Is the a way of temporarily hiding these for shooting videos.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

As to the first question, it sounds like you inadvertently turned the "console window" on within the advanced menu settings.

As to the second, while I do not know how off the top of my head to make HUD objects not appear in video/screenshots, I am certain it is possible and that it is the matter of a setting in the advanced menu.

I'll see if I can find a more detailed answer for both your questions.

Control-Alt-F1 to suppress the viewer.
