Problem Taking Photos & with Chat window

lately when I try to take a high res photo to hard drive via the ctlr+' method, I get a cropped version of the screen which only shows the lower left hand corner. If I take a photo via the menu under File I can get a goodish snapshot but the resolution is always somewhat lower. In addition no matter what I click or choose in preferences I cannot get IM chat to show up in my main chat window.

This is a new thing that has happened and does not happen when using Impudence Viewer but does happen in Emerald and official SL viewer. I would happily use Imprudence but that seems to give me problems with hearing voice!

I have already removed all SL stuff from my PC twice including any settings or preferences files and reloaded viewers but still having this problem which is just annoying me. Live Help don't seem to know what it might be so hoping someone out there may have some suggestions.

Hi Res Snapshots are broken in 1.23 and viewers based on it. That's why you're just getting partial screens when that option is checked.

thanks Milla! got rid of all viewers and just added snowglobe and that problem is now fixed! hurrah

now to see if anyone knows why the IM chat doesn't show up in main chat window even when that option is selected...

found the answer to the chat problem too in jira after a bit of searching so thanks for pointing that out to me Milla - will know where else to look next time!
