Heyas Everyone :D

I have been using SL now for a few years and never had too many problems, however recently i am getting a strange issue with Voice that i cant seem to fix.

SL Voice seems to work sometimes and not others. I will login and voila, i have voice! Then i login a few hours later and it wont connect, all i get is the following message over and over again:

[3:31] Connecting to in-world Voice Chat...
[3:31] Connected
[3:31] Connecting to in-world Voice Chat...
[3:31] Connected
[3:32] Connecting to in-world Voice Chat...
[3:32] Connected

It says connected, but i have nothing in the active speakers, no white dots above peoples heads and they cant hear me either. I have tried a few things, all of which have made no difference:

1) Disabled the Firewall
2) Turned off Traffic Shaping on the router/Modem
3) Forwarded all the relevent ports
4) Setup a DMZ and forwarded to my PC
5) Reinstalled SL Fully

Has anyone else had the same or a similar problem? If so have you managed to resolve it and by doing what?

Any general help/advice would be more than welcomed.

Keep safe and thanks in advanced,

yeah i've always had problems with my voice, headset and mic.......it mostly works if i turn on the pc with them already plugged in and well before logging into sl..however that's not always failsafe, because invariably I have to reset the edit>preferences>audio tabs every time to get the volume and receive sorted. Obviously you need to be in sim areas which allow voice, but the only thing I can suggest is get another headset to try, maybe yours is faulty? They are only about £5 in UK for a half decent one with plug in phones and mic (green/pink). Other than that, arrange a meet up with someone to talk to informally in an area you can first, to tweak all the settings with them before going for it for real...............
