using nVidia with Vista-
just reformatted. installed all the windows updates, and drivers updates. however, it says i can't log in because i haven't updated, or need to make some sort of change.
it's probably that i need to DUMP a recent driver, because i know that when i'd update drivers before, SL would quit working for me and i'd have to uninstall those.
anyone know a place i can find a list of drivers i need, and more importantly, a list of drivers i need to uninstall in order to get SL to work for me?

You can get nVida video drivers at http://nVidia.com
Many folks report the 175 series of drivers work better for them than more recent ones. You could try 175.19 or 175.16 . You can find that at http://www.nvidia.com/Download/Find.aspx?lang=en-us If the problem persists after trying different drivers you might want to provide some more info: What model video card do you have? What version nVidia driver are you using? What version of SL? What version of Vista? _____________________
