I was ported to an event last night and heard a bump and then all I could see was a screen of a water shot.
I got no response from my av but was able to im the friend who ported me but upon relog, the screen hangs at the "contacting region" line...I have re-installed, and rebooted several times....
can someone help?

I got the same thing today. I TP home and theres nothing there. So I TP home again and everything is back to normal but me, I am invisable. Well,I think it worked before and got the sim back maybe it will me. So I TP home again but nope. A couple more attemtps and still no me lol. Anyway I get a friend to TP me to here and as soon as it shows where I TPed to SL crashed.
Now everytime I try to log in it crashes at the precaching point. this last attempt it crashed at same point but said something different.
For now I have given up trying after about 10 attempts and checking that nothing is wrong with my pc. I sent a crash report twice but you never know.
I dont know what caused it.

Amanda,
I went to preferences on the the login screen and set myself to log into home....its seemed to work so far....

I can't get in either. And changing my destination to home didn't help.

After many attempts I decided to uninstall and then reinstall SL.
Then it told me my graphics card wasnt upto date :-\
Funny it was and everything on my pc was fine lol.
I couldnt even get log in screen then.

Had to uninstall and reinstall graphics card to play. but finally got on.
