Since the last patch, 1.09(?) I've had massive packetloss and bandwidth is typically in the yellow or red (I'm currently set, in preferences, down to 100kbps, which has little noticiable affect. My network appears to be fine. Doesn't matter if there's only me in a sim, or lots of folks/prims, etc.
As well, and much more annoying, anytime I use a script I'm working on (physical moving) my graphics go to hell, fast. It's like the server can't figure out where I am. The camera moves all over, I see myself flung across the sim, then reset to where I actually am (people sitting on my object don't see this), textures pop up all over while this is occuring. Running latest nVidia drivers, btw. This occurs anytime I use this script, and also with other movement type scripts I have, although apparently not as bad of an affect. My packet loss is constanly hosed so it might just be related to that an the client trying to figure out where I am and adjust the camera/textures/prims, etc.
I'm sort of wondering if my avatar is corrupted. For example:
Just a bit ago I logged in, in Blue. I move around blue, chat with friends, gave some people a ride on my hovercraft around blue, into Gray and around Gray, into Aqua(?) and around that, then into Lime and moved around Lime. Derez'd my hovercraft, chatted with some folks in Lime, and logged out, via "quit", in the center of lime. About 10 minutes later I log back in, and am back in blue at the same spot I originally logged into when I first logged in over an hour ago. (my log in is set to last position).
I haven't been crashing, like I know others have (see other thread), but I tend to log out pretty quick because the packetloss and hosed graphics frustrate me. None of this occured before the patch, so I suspect newview.exe's fixes added a few new bugs.
