here here i agree  and i don't like the new hollow restrictions on cylinders with respect to squares. Complicates my product line.

I'm gonna have to disagree with ya on this one, Michi. Sorry. I may agree with you on a lot of stuff, especially the whole animation issue, but LL did -very- clearly annouce DAYS ago that they were changing the way the new prim was going to work because of a collision bug.
This is a new prim. It's a fundamental addition to the basic building structure of the entire SL world. It HAS to work, and work smoothly. Yes, they should have allowed more testing in 1.5, but it's better they fix the prim now than have it be basically nothing but eyecandy that doesn't work well (or at all) with the physics system.
(Regarding the square hole in a round peg, don't -tell- me you thought that the prim turning inside out was a -feature-.)
