1.4.2 Update Loop

As soon as I download 1.4.2, I try to play. As I log in with the new version, it tells me a new version is available and I must update to continue.

Rinse.

Repeat.

Repeat.

Repeat.

Nevermind. The status page link says system could be down until 10am pst. Im just too anxious.

I'm having something similar.

I've done the download, and see the .dmg mac file on my desktop, and vre. 1.4.2 opens and i can log in ok.

But 1.4.2 was not installed on my HD - so the next time i log in, i arrive in vers. 1.3.3.

I've checked my hd several times and event the trash, but 1.4.2 not found.


Suggestions?

this used to happen to me with all the 1.2 versions.

I would have to download from the SL website instead of doing the upgrade.

Then it would work.

I'm pretty sure i got it to work... has so far when i reloged.
