Hello all
I had to formaty my harddrive not long ago and ever since everytime I try to run SL my computer just shuts off. It seems to work fine with everything else so far. It doesn't matter if I try to sign in or just open the program and let it set it still does the same thing. I don't know if this is a graphics card issue or a processor problem. There are no error messages displayed it just acts like you shut the power off. I'm running Windows XP the same as before.
Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Why did you format your hard drive?

Have you checked to see that all fans are spinning properly and vents, etc., aren't clogged with dust or other obstructions?

Some system specs might be useful.

What version of SL?

What video card? What version of video driver?

What operating system, brand and model of computer, type of processor, amount of ram, etc. ?
