So wonderful. I just FINALLY decide to update the SL software and guess what? I crash every single time I try to log in. I get as far as hearing the "ding ding" of a new IM or group chat message, and the status bar saying downloading clothing. After that, crash logger. Anyone else having this issue?

The first thing you should try is clearing your cache. Start SL, but don't login. Under the Edit menu, go to Preferences and click the network tab, press the clear cache button and restart SL. Try to login.
If you are using an ATI graphics adapter, open the ATI Catalyst Control Center, find the option for Advanced A.I. and turn it off. Update or reinstall Quicktime. If it still crashes, you can try manually deleting your SL user folder (it is not deleted when you reinstall SL). Back it up first so you don't lose any chat logs or such. If you're on a Macintosh, it's /Macintosh HD/Users/[username]/Library/Application Support//SecondLife If you're on a Windows PC, where it is depends on what version of Windows you're using. In Vista or 7, it should be C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\SecondLife In XP, I think it's C:\Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\SecondLife Deleting those folders (back them up first!), uninstalling then reinstalling SL will give you a completely clean install. _____________________

So I've done all of that already, Milla. I've even updated ALL of my drivers. And actually, I have an ATI card and when I updated my driver, my Catalyst Control Center went MIA. I've tried installing that about a bazillion times and can't seem to find it; the original way or searching through my folders. Do you know where to find that, or have any other suggestions? Thank you much!
