Object Missing From Database Error Message

I was using SL and everything was fine. I had to switch computers so I logged off. When I logged back on I was bald. My hair is in my inventory but it says the object missing from database error message. I have done everything the KB says on both my laptop and my desktop. Cleared cache and all of that. My hair is still in my inventory I just cant wear it. It is bugging me because its my favorite hair. Please help and tell me how I can get it back. Someone told me even if I buy it again I still wont be able to wear it. Thanks in advance.
