I've seen a few other mouse related problems here but mine is that when I click in the inventory or on a dilogue box it MAY double click. If i click on something it may or may not open or do whatever double click does. Now I wonder if someone else has this problem with random double clicks. It's been since the last update or the one before, not sure. (lost tracks ) Sometimes 3 times in a row sometimes 1 in 10 times. Had the same Logitech mouse for years and don't have any problems in other programs. It's not lag related.

Same problem, weird thing is, it will double click on other things, like firefox, but ONLY when second life is running... Say, your logitech mouse wouldn't happen to be this one, would it?
http://www.led.am/catalog.php?lang=5&cid=20&sid=1162&pid=7639 Because it's the same one I'm running.

I tried reinstalling the drivers, messing with OS mouse settings, messing with Logitech settings, restarting the cpu, reinstalling my SL viewer, and nothing.

I'd love for a fix to be posted, because I'm trying to learn the ropes of sculpting and it's infinitely frustrating when you're trying to rotate something ever so delicately and it ends up wigging out on you most of the time.

I, too, have the same problem, only worse...after so many tests and uploading files to MSN, the problem has been narrowed down to SL's program. It has gotten to be a major hassle to even open or close folders in my inventory...or anything else, for that matter! I suppose I'll learn to live with it...even though it "bleeds" into other programs even when I'm not in-world. I haven't reported this to anyone in SL, nor will I, as my other problems have hit a dead end! My advise to anyone with the same problem- enjoy what you have...it could be worse!

Mice are somewhat like keyboards. They get dirty and can have sticky key/button problems. By sticky I mean the key/button does not have to "stick" in obvious up or down position....they can feel like they are working quite normally to your fingers. But internally they could sitck completely in one position or another...........or partially stick, or just slow to rebound to the up position. I've had a key board do that to me with a key I never use (the ] key). It never repeated like the normal sticky key........it merely prevented me from typing a capital I. I found it when, in frustration since I was not ready to spend money on a new keyboard that that time, I got out and old tooth brush to clean deeply around the keys and my trusty can of compressed air.........I found the key when I loosened a cookie crumb that was lodged just out of sight on that key. I guess I had accidentlly hit the ] key going for the backspace key............a key I use very much. :)

I have had mouse problems similar but I knew it was a sticky button from the way it felt. A good cleaning might fix your problems.

And I've had tons of problems with wireless keyboards and mice..........I don't use them any more.
