Items vanishing from my invent accompanied by crashing

Ever since I started using the 1.2 viewer items in my inventory have randomly decided to jump to the top folder level (the level with inventory and library) and sit there. When I try to move them back I crash. Then either if I crash or log out the next time I'm come online the item is totally gone. I've lost over $L 1400 in items the past few days and this is starting to get very annoying.

Anyone have any ideas or remedies to this?

You say you are using the 1.2 viewer. I believe that would be 1.20.4 which is the lastest Release Candidate viewer. RC's are beta viewers for testing by residents to find and report bugs before the viewer is released to the general population as the regular "official" viewer. If you are having this problem problem report it as a bug to LL so they can fix it.

If I was experiencing loss of inventory due to this bug I wouldn't continue doing the things that continue to cause my inventory items to disappear. You can use the non beta viewer (1.19.xx) until LL releases a new RC. Then check to see if the new RC continues to have the same problem..........if so report it again. That's what beta programs are for. But, to continue using the test viewer as if it was the main (official) viewer when you know it has a problem with eating your stuff is sort of silly.

By the way, LL states clearly that all transactions using the beta the viewer are real...........same as if you were using the main viewer. So anything you loose in the RC is lost in the main too. Be careful.
