Lindens; i have to express my extreme disappointment at the lack of priorities that is afforded those that pay a subscription to Linden. I have spent the last 10 minutes trying to login; only to be told to go away each time

Please note i am Brtitish, so the above statement of 'disappointment' is an understatement. If I was american i would be suing you for failure to provide a minimum quality of service to paying customers.

i would urgently suggest you reconsider you present policies and give priiority of login to paying, land owning customers

Or is this too mch to ask

There's, uh, probably a lot of things you didn't know about lindens. Another, another interesting, uh, lindenism, uh, there are only three jobs available to a linden. The first is making shoes at night while, you know, while the old cobbler sleeps.You can bake cookies in a tree. But the third job, some call it, uh, "the show" or "the big dance," it's the profession that every linden aspires to.

I think the 'valid reason' is that there are a lot of people logging in and sl can't cope. it actually took me about half an hour in the end; each time i attempted a log in ws told to come back in 4 minutes time; would come back and be told to wait again.

Would have loved to wait an hour but partner was expecting me and would have had to logoff before i got on;

Think SL may be a victim of its own success; trouble is; puts me off the game;

There is no Service Level Agreement between you and Linden Labs, right? If not there is nothing to sue over. As much as Americans may have a reputation for being litigation freaks (and so do the British, by the way), there is no legal basis for a claim there.

Linden Labs has stated that they intend to work out a priority queue for logins that gives preference to paying customers, but I think that the problem has much more to do with Second Life failing to properly scale than any other factor.
