i got a few jackets that have bottom textures, meaning when the jacket is equipped, the pants i am wearing get covered up. the texture for the bottom of the jacket is blank, so it just looks like a white pair of pants, very bad pants. when i change the jackets color, only the newly created pants change color. how do i get rid of the bottom texture on the jacket? thanks.

If lowering the length slider doesn't work then it sounds like you're seeing the palletized texture bug. Press ctrl-alt-F7 to turn off palletized textures. Note, you'll need to do this each time you log in. The setting does not persist.

Another thing to check is what the jacket bottom texture is set to. If it's all white you'll wind up with a white looking bottom part of the jacket. However, if the white your seeing extends all the way to your ankles then yes this is the palletised texture bug.

yeah but even when you uncheck palletized textures it's still doing it and I've been disabling that for a long time now. The clothing is no mod unfortunately but it's on several outfits. Even a few mod ones don't seem to ever get corrected messing with it in edit appearance.
