Hey All Dunno whether it is the right area to ask this but i would like a technical response  Would like to know where I can find out how to program a php script or link to data from the SL site to be able to let users access their contacts list amongst other things as I would like to make a PDA and mobile phone friendly site, Ive seen community apps be able to pull this information, would be cool to know how to do it. The only thing i have seen that even comes close to that is a collar that will report on a slave. Excite I think it was who made the collar.

ok, uve both misuderstood, i dont want to do any SL scripting or put a collar on someone lol. This is for a RL website that can be accessed from a PDA or phone in RL so people can see if their SL contacts are online or not plus other things if possible.

Your best bet would probably be to ask over in Scripting Tips. Somebody over there probably knows how to do what you want.
It's not about whether you want to make a collar or not. It's about going where the programmers are. What you want to do is relatively simple, but I don't know the specifics for precisely how to set it up. There's a chance someone here might, but there's a much better chance that the kind of person who tends to frequent the scripting forum would.

scripting tips would be a better choice, those are the people who know how to get data in and out of SL
