Suddenly when trying to long on I get the following at the "Contacting region" point: We're having trouble connecting. There may be a problem with your internet connection or the Second Life servers.
I have been using this same computer for months with no problems. This started a month ago. First I was able to clear it by erasing cache or reinstalling the SL client, don't remember which one. Now, that doesn't help. I tried turning off the firewall, to no avail.
It is only with this computer. I can connect with my notebook on the same DSL line.
I tried SL Support but they refused because I am a basic account, which is rather ironic. For almost three years I was a Premium account and mentor. Between the 500 lindens a month and my little business, I never paid any out of pocket money to LL. Now, I indirectly given them much more and own much more land. Oh well!
I would appreciate it if any one has an idea of what the problem could be. I looked over the log and can't see anything obvious.
