ok v1.9 work for me...
anyone have idea how can i set the setting back
to v1.9 when i have v2.0 as they do not allow us
to use v1.9 anymore

now with version 2.0 i am seeing things in balls
and cube....zzzz

go to preferences, go to graphics, set to low.

the lindens have also set up a wiki page explaining this too "For any Residents who prefer / have been using earlier versions that do not include WindLight rendering, we have created a page on the Second Life Wiki that explains how to turn all related graphics settings to “Low,” effectively turning off WindLight in the current official viewer." :

go for a walk, read a book? sorry can't be more helpful and i haven't tried the update yet either, *crosses fingers.

no choice, other than use another viewer, see the Linden post about the update.
