OK, heres a quick helpful message so we can diagnose the problem (thanks doug for writing this up)

Here's how to report a bug.

First, describe what you were doing at the time of the crash (customizing
your avatar, writing a script, logging in, etc.). Second, let us know if
it's a server crash or a viewer crash (a server crash will put up a dialog
box in our world, a viewer crash will result in a pop-up dialog, and the
Windows crash handler.

Also, please find and attach the following log file: SecondLife.log (located in your root directory c:\). You may want to zip
it if it's large...

If you have Windows 2000/XP, please also include the Dr. Watson crash log,
located in drwtsn32.txt (run drwtsn32 from Start Menu/Run to find the
location, or cut and paste out of the latest crash report). Usually
located in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson.

Bonus points go to those who can identify the particular video card
/CPU/motherboard combination. For example, ATI Radeon 9700 Pro, Intel
Pentium 4/Intel i850E. This is especially useful when attempting to debug
rendering errors and viewer crash reports.

Hope this is a good start.

Another thing to check, make sure you have the most recent drivers for your graphics card installed.
