I looked in the support area of the main page, but I couldn't find anything to help me, and I was wondering if someone knew what I could do to fix this problem. When I try to launch second life, it crashes before anything loads, and I cannot access the program.

The system requirements should not be a problem, as I am running above the requirements. I manually checked, plus I used the system analyzer at systemrequirementslab.com, and it says that I exceed even all of the recommended settings. I also make sure I keep my drivers up to date. I'm running on Windows XP professional, with a pentium d 2.8 ghz, 3 gbs of ram, and a nvidia GeForce 7300 LE. If anybody could help me with this, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thank you very much.

The latest drivers don't always work best with SL. Try using nVidia driver version 175.16 or 175.19, those seems to work best according to a lot of posters. Do you get an error message when it crashes? Are your fans dust-free and spinning easily?

Thank you for the help, but I just ended up using a different graphics card. Doing that allowed the program to run correctly.

It's good that you upgraded that card, Destiny. x3xx is awfully low end for SL. I would never suggest going any lower than x6xxx if you want any semblance of decent performance.

The listed minimum system requirements are way too low, as I'm sure you've figured out by now.
