OK, I have to ask. I've seen this happening more and more lately and no-one seems to know what's going on.

Every once in a while, I start falling upwards and have a lot of difficulty stopping myself. Just to clarify, that isn't a typo, falling upwards. I'm sure many of you have seen it. And occasionally I've seen a similar problem on objects. There are various ways to stop but it they're pretty inconsistant.

And then this tonight... I pop in to Cordova to start on a bit of scripting, only to find some idiot (Chaice Pendragon) has left self spawning balls in there and the sim is maxed out with prims. So I head on over to Morris and rez the object I'm working on. Then every once and a while my object starts floating downward into the ground. When I select, then de-select it, it starts behaving and moves to where I told it to with llMoveToTarget.

Now I admit this one could be a scripting error, except for the fact that the object is physical and not phantom. Also the script is pretty simple and I know enough to be pretty positive that nothing in there would cause this wierd movement.

Anyone got any info on this stuff?
Maybe there's been some sorta interstellar disruption that's affecting the gravity or somethin?

hmm... sounds like someone is abusing my upward-falling method

yeah, its not a script, and you cant stop falling upwards

its just a glitch in the physics engine
