Could just be me, of course =)

1. I created my Group a few days ago. Tonight when I tried to edit it (add the Charter, which I didn't do when creating it), it wouldn't let me edit. Not the charter, nor the number of officers/members, nor the options that officers or members could do. And the Invite tab is greyed out...

2. Attempting to invite someone to join my group --- I tried via the Edit -> Group -> Invite tab, but as stated in #1 above, that tab was greyed out. Next I tried via Find -> People (online only) -> doubleclicked the person's name to get profile -> Invite was greyed out.

I did finally managed to invite him, by bringing up his calling card. Felt like a total blonde then... but then thought that perhaps the issues in #2 above should be reported.

Yes, the groups dialog over-promises and under-delivers. My apologies -- it's my code.

Currently the only way to add people to a group is to get to their profile (like by clicking on them, or on their calling card) and click the "Invite To Group" button.

Also, there is currently no way to change the charter of a group once it is created. :-( You'll have to leave that group and create another one.

Not a thing for you to apologize for, James! I've worked with programmers long enough to understand the development process. I know you'll get all those features operational as you can, and in the order mandated by the other 3 gazillion tasks on your list.

Ok, then it's not *just me* -- that makes me feel much better =)

I swear, my last boss HAD to have had something like:
if ($nick == 'Shebang') {
&ScrewUpRoyally;
}

Things were constantly going "wrong" for me, and I could reproduce them without fail -- but no one else could. <G>

Boooo-hiss! But I'm going to be optimistic because of your use of the word *currently* and assume that within the next X number of releases I *will* be able to change the charter of my group. Since I do have a member now, I really don't want to drop the group and recreate.

LOL
I've changed it. Now you're a "hippy skippy Linden" (and yes, I'm in awe =) Thanks so much for taking the time to respond to my report. Now get back to coding <insert sound of whip cracking> =)
