Anyone know where I can find the drivers for the following laptop? I tried the nvidia page and they said to go to the laptop page. Can't find recent ones at toshiba or on the web.
Toshiba Satellite 5105-S501 Running XPpro NVidia Geforce4 440 Go graphics card.
SL gives me a popup when I log on saying I should get the latest drivers and they give the number for it but I can't find it anywhere.
41.09
help?

I own a very similar laptop -- I think it's the 5105-S607 -- not totally sure, though. (I dropped it and it stopped working, so, I'm buying a new one now anyway...)
Here's how I used to update my drivers.
1. Download 2. Open the file 3. Let it extract to a folder (remember where it is) 4. Cancel the installation once it's all extracted 5. Use Window's built in driver updater thingie...I can't remember exactly where you can access it from. 6. Use it to navigate to that folder you picked in step 3. 7. Find the correct file in that folder (It should be the only one of that file type) 8. Select it 9. Install
I hope that made sense.

That won't work, Pepplar. You can't download drivers from nVidia for laptops.
Your only option right now is to find some cracked ones with google. Try searching for "toshiba laptop nvidia drivers" or some such thing. They're out there, but, they might not be up to date, either.
I don't think Toshiba even has plans to release new drivers for thier laptops...not sure why. I guess they don't think it's important enough.
Now, if only they knew why my laptop's screen only displays white. Hmpf.

thanks Pep & James!
I will try and find a cracked copy.
There seems to be newer Dell drivers for the Nvidia Geforce4 440 Go but I'm not sure I should download those.
