3d connecxion won't work

Ok, gang, read all the reports I could find, looked at the Linden video. The thingy works ok, but not in SL. What click am I missing to make it work?

Or in the normal viewer get the Advanced menu (control-alt-D) then tick "Joystick Flycam."

SpaceNavigator in the Normal Viewer?

Hold on... you mean we can use the SN in the normal viewer and not just the RC?

Thanks guys, but still no luck.

I have the latest softwear driveers, and the 1.19 SL,

In perferences input, there is no joystick option.

And in advanced joystick, yes I get movenent with the 3d, but no the avi motion , more like wild camera moving.

So,I am still doing soemthign wrong, it is not like the you tube tutorial, not close.

FlyCam is exactly what it says on the tin... it controls your camera, not your avie.

I tried it last night and it does work, but went wild and was hard to control - do you have any tips on the settings I'll need for the SN?

Guys,
Solution turned out to be simple. You must have the test version 1.2. And it is not obvious where this is. Takes a bit of poking around.

But it really works great!!!!
