*****UPDATE*****

Problem solved! Went back to an earlier Nvidia driver!

I am experiencing a problem with any shoe base I put on. My shoe bases have suddenly started extending to my waist. It does not matter if I have attached shoes on, it remains the same. When I go into appeaence mode, it is still the same and I can not make any changes to lower the shoe base to where its supposed to be.

I have confirmed with another av that it shows to everyone that way. I have rebaked several times and the issue is still there. This issue was brought up on 12-26-2007 at 06:43 PM with no solution.

Please help!!!

Are u sure you are not missing something in edit.
I was fat and I couldn't figure out why, even though I had changed several screens to the slim side, but I had missed one of the screens that adjusted that particular section of body.
If you are sure you have not missed anything, I would contact someone by phone.

While in appearance, I tried every line to bring down the worn items. Even when set to 0, the shoe base and socks were at my waist. I even tried to create a new shoe base, and it went up to my waist.

Myself, I don't even wear shoes or socks in SL. ;)

Dresses, skirts, pants, sweaters - but no shoes for me. Hence my user title.

A Great Work Around

I have submited a bug report to jira.secondlife.com. Who knows if this "bug" will ever be corrected. I have taken your suggestion and made my feet smaller to fit the shoes. Thanks for the great suggestion!

Do you have one of the new Nvidia cards 260/280GTX? or updated your graphic driver to version 177.xx lately? I have the same issues with the new card/Driver. Useing an older driver (175.xx) should work out, if you have an older Nvidia card. But i guess older drivers will not support the 260/280 cards.

I had the same issue with the shoe, and I had indeed updated my Nvidia 8800GTX to 177.83 version.

But then i reinstalled the 175.xx version and the problem went away-

I have a NVIDIA 8800M GT Video Card. I recently updated my driver to fix my constant crashing. I took the latest modified driver from laptopvideo2go. That stopped the crashing. Thats when the clothing issue started happening. Now, I have gone to v175.95 VISTA 32bit driver and that worked and now the clothing issue is gone. Thanks to everyone who made wonderful suggestions!!
