item permissions problem

I reported this as a bug yesterday while online.

Someone sent an item - holiday wreath - to me and I accepted it into my inventory.
I rezzed it and it appeared - voila! - and there was still a copy in my inventory.

when I took it back into my inventory, the new copy had no copy, no modify permissions but the original didn't.

I made several copies from the original but could not from the copies.

This is clearly a bug and any new item into inventory seems to be able to copy this way if given to you.

Anyone else notice this?

I've seen this as well with other objects and I have sometimes had this happen to objects I made from scratch. Suddenly I lose my permissions to them.
