Ok.. So.. I just recently about 3 days ago bought Lindens from some website.. Im not sure if this is illegal or anything or against SL rules.. but i bought some on my character ALT avatar named Benson Karillion i recieved 2k out of 16k and sent it to this account.. Then a little while after i get 2k more but never log into the transfer.. moment later i try logging in and i cant.. i go on the site and it's saying im haveing some password or security problem.. Then i search for him on this avatar and he cannot be found? Has SL deleted my alt? hes done nothing wrong..

**If Linden Lab, in its sole discretion, determines that a Second Life user has purchased Linden Dollars for real currency through any means other than LindeX, and that the seller of such Linden Dollars acquired such Linden Dollars through fraudulent means, or any other means in violation of the Terms of Service, then Linden Lab will consider the buying user a complicit party in the fraud or violation. As a penalty for participation in such fraud or violation, Linden Lab will reduce the Linden Dollar balance of the buying Second Life account (and/or any Second Life accounts owned or operated by, or affiliated with, the owner of the buying account), by any amount up to 150% of the amount of Linden Dollars involved in the transaction. In addition, repeated participation in such fraud or violation will result in suspension or cancellation of the buying party's accounts. (The selling account will of course be suspended or cancelled on a single fraud or violation at Linden Lab's discretion.)**
from http://secondlifegrid.net/technology-programs/virtual-world-api/risk It seems that you bought Linden$ from an insecure source, and as said above, LL considers the buyer as complice of the source. What you can do is open a ticket and try to talk with the Lindens. |

Amazing people still take their chances on a 3rd party site to save literally pennies. Why not purchase directly from LindeX?

At least in Brazil not everybody have an international credit card, this way they couldn't buy from Lindex until Kaizen Games became partner of Linden Labs in Brazil (now they can buy safely from Kaizen Games).
I don't know if in other countries people can be in the same situation. |

You'll need to call Linden or submit a ticket. Also, see the following SL Wiki link for list of L$ resellers using Exchange Risk API:

Ok well my partner Lana Madonna has been in SL 5 years and has a premium account which is paid till Nov 2009, and suddenly she cant login to SL, cant access her account either as it seems to have just vanished, and nobody can find her inworld. She has reported this so hopefully it can be remedied. She cant even get tinto this blog to read it at this stage either
