I've noticed lately I've been losing sync with my attachments more often than in the past.
Maybe I'm just flying around a lot more than I used to, but I was wondering if anyone else is having this happen more lately than they used to?
Here are three issues (which may or may not be related):
1. After travelling between a couple sims, you'll notice you aren't wearing an attachment when you look at your AV, but the system still thinks you have it on. Everyone else sees you with it on, but you do not.
2. Sometimes if you try to teleport you get the message "not all attachments have yet arrived", and it denies you the teleport request.
3. I try to detach something I'm wearing, and nothing happens. The attachment still remains highlighted in my inventory (as if I'm still wearing it). I try to attach something else that goes into the same attachment point, and nothing happens (no error, object does not appear nor replace existing attachment, bold text in inventory does not change). This may be related to #1.
Usually I have to log off and log back on to clear these problems up.
It seems there are two problems. One is the client becoming desynced with the server. The other is the servers being lagged and not completing the handoff of the attachment objects to the next server I travel into.
There's probably not much I can do about the latter, but does anyone know of a way to force the client to resync attachments with the server without me having to relog?

Yes.
I might add too...WAY more often then before. Seems to happen to me at least 3 times a night.

Yes. This has happened to me. One time with particle wings on. When I went back to the sim I lost them in, they reappeared appropriately, interestingly enough.
The teleport issue has happened to me, as has the detach issue. *bwah*

igh: I hate this bug, and all other sim border crossing bugs. It just makes me feel so frustrated when I ride with a friend over a sim border in a vehicle, only to find my avatar gets stuck to the border while the car moves on. Relogging is indeed the only way to fix this A simple 'force server reconnect' option in the Debug menu would satasfy my urge to rip someone's throat out when I have to relog to solve a problem. =Chris

I could tolerate all the bugs that require rebooting to fix, if only the inventory loading procedure could be optimized.
It seems fairly obvious that the inventory can continue to load even while we are in-world. Why do we have to stare at a progress bar for 30ish seconds before we get the "Your inventory is still downloading" dialog?
If it's to hide the geometry of the surroundings from us while they are loading, then I think that's just silly. We all know this is a metaverse; I think it would be very neat to see it load that way. I would consider the ability to see everything as it's loading as a bonus "special effect".
