Okay this is a cry for help. This problem had only started recently and I can't figure out what is causing it. Now this will sound odd but before we start I have nothing new scanned for adware, spyware, and viruses and am all up to date on hardware and software. Following a Linden's advice I got a ping program and ran it and they said having no issues communing with the server. Also done a roll back of SL, and a uninstall/reinstall and nothing happened. Okay now the problem. What happens is that upon opening and running SL and getting into the game world all other programs and Windows Explorer stop responding to the point that I can play and do anything in SL but if I want to do anything outside of SL I have to restart my system. SL runs fine but nothing else will. I also play World of Warcraft of course not at the same time, but it doesnt cause any problems and they have about the same requirements to run on a system. I'm using windows xp 32-bit, ati x1300, amd 2GHz dual core, and 3GB of ram. Someone help this fellow member of the SL world so I can play my game and still use my computer at the same time.
