Since 1.5 came out the number of dead scripts I've had to replace has jumped wayy up, I just logged on to 8.
I had assumed this was a teleport bug but a few of these people say they haven't teleported anywhere.
Anyone come up with any reason why this is happening?

*nod* I'm pretty sure all it does is uncheck the "Running" box on a script, but if people dont have access to check or uncheck that its as good as breaking.

Same problem here ... I'm waiting for 10 minutes already to save my script ... and finally saved it.

Ok... the above problem was solved by unchecking the "Running" box before saving. Doh.... **Even if the box is unchecked...check it and uncheck...only way I can get script to save in under 5 mins.**

Our asset server is under heavy load right now and we're trying to find the problem and solve it. This is why the scripts are taking forever to save.
The asset server stores/serves a bunch of http files of assorted things including saved scripts. It's load is also the source of several other problems such as failed teleports and slow inventory updates.

Archanox - if you are talking about your override script, i think you may need to make that another one that will need replacing. I've sent you an IM in world, but i know for a fact that SL has eaten incoming ones to me today, so - here's hoping you get it! *chuckle*

Any idea if that would have to do with scripts stopping Andrew?
I've been trying to get exactly what people were doing when it breaks, alot are saying their SL client crashing caused it. *shrug*
