I am almost 100% sure the game crashes because of a zoning problem. Could you devs please reset my character location back to the tutorial place?

There is an option in preferences (which you can access from the login screen) to start at your home spot rather than where you were. Give that a shot.

Hmmm, looks like this isn't the problem after all, I think I am having the same problem the other guy had with the Geforce FX series, though I have a Geforce 4 TI4800SE Golden Sample. I'll go try his suggestion and see what happens.
