Hello, when i start my client i recieve the following error message:
"Unable to find a valid certificate authority certificate file. Please try re-installing Second Life. if you continue to receive this error, please go to the support section of the SecondLife.com website and report the problem."
I have uninstalled and removed all entries of second life from my registry and reinstalled. i am still having this issue. any suggestions?

This error is caused when your system clock is off.
Check Windows and I suspect you will see that your system date is set either a few years forward or behind.

I have the same problem! Thanks for the info. I had to wipe my bios settings and forgot about system clock. Thanks so much for bringing this up.
