Congrats, Lindens, this is great news! I think the Mac community will bring in a lot of fun, creative people.
Just for fun I ran the alpha on my G4 Cube, and while it was quite slow, it was a blast seeing everything on the Mac. (Now I really need a G5!).

Good to know that it will run on lower than the min spec. I am eagerly awaiting trying it on my 800Mhz iMac even if they won't listen if it breaks. ;)

I tried the alpha out on my 733 G4 and while it ran a little slow, it did run. With all the video effects turned off, AGP turned on, and draw distance set for 128, I was getting from 3.5 to 9.5 fps, with fps hovering around 4-6. Hopefully later versions will run a little laster, even though my Mac is below the min req.
