Can't Login Avatar stuck in world but I've logged off.

Started yesterday. Having issues logging in taking many tries. End of the night I log out my usual place. My friend called me to tell me that I was online (but I had logged out, viewer closed - I wasn't logged in). After many attempts, I was able to log in, I get an IM that my avatar was stuck and flying for hours finally ending up at some beach. I then go to another region. Log out and log in totally fine.

Later today I go to log in and getting the error message. Many many attempts, I finally got in, but loading everything was near a crawl. Then I log out. Go to log back in and I've not been able to get back in and am getting the error message. My friend informs me, that apparently I'm online again, but I'm not. I'm logged out and my viewer is closed.

My friend just informed that he can not find me on the map. So my toon is apparently online stuck in some grid abyss

I've submitted a ticket and not heard anything back.

Like the system won't log out my toon. or it does then sucks it back in world so I can't log in. There is no evidence of any hack when I logged in my toon. Everything is still there and at the same spot when I log out.

Any ideas??

Unfortunately, the sim you are 'ghosted' in has to be restarted.

Your ticket may be a long while in the response que. If you know someone with concierge level access they can see if a Linden can reset the sim for you.

Do you know the sim? Even though you cannot be seen in the sim you could be there somewhere, possibly at 0,0,0.

rolling restarts are due on Tuesday and Wednesday for the server upgrade - that should help those of us with this problem.

Well I've managed to get back online. Log in, log off without problems now, but that is not to say it won't happen again - I don't want to jinx it

There were a couple sims that were funky. Hopefully the restarts will help alleviate the issues.

Update Edit - I must have jinxed it, just tried to log in this time from another sim Gandvik and can't log in *sigh*
