This has been going on for over 2 months now. Support has provided the standard generic solutions that have not resolved anything.

I can not log on with Aura Lily Account
I can log in with my other two Accounts

Same SIM (pooley, ahern, themiskyra ... does not matter where)
Same Browser
Same PC
Same Router
Same Modem
Same Everything

Hi, might I ask what the exact details of those "Same" things are?

An easy way is to go to Help in the menu bar of SL and pick About Second Life. Copy and past the contents of the top half of the window here.

Also, if you are getting any error messages, paste those here exactly as they show up.

That will help people help you a lot better.

When you say you can't log in what does that mean? Does SL crash or stop responding? Does it get to some point in the log in process and just endlessly stay there? Do you get an error message of some kind?

Since you can log in successfully on two out of three accounts I would say it's not a computer problem...........nor is it a client problem. It could be some weird permissions thing with your computer but I can imagine what. And not to sound flippant, but are you sure your typing your name and password correctly?

I intentionally typed in the wrong password and immediately got:
From: someone
Login Failed.
Please make sure your Caps Lock key is off, and
that you have the correct account name and password

So ...

After any rolling restart, I can log in my other two accounts with no problems. Click the SL icon and in less than a minute I am logged in. With my Aura Lily account given the same conditions:

Same SIM (pooley, ahern, themiskyra ... does not matter where)
Same Browser
Same PC
Same Router
Same Modem

I start the log in process and the progress bar initally hangs at Connecting to Region, then it hangs at PreCache, then at Clothing. If it does finally open SL My avatar is standing in an empty world with her arms out to her side like in "appearance" and will not move. The map, teleport, inventory, mini map, etc do not work. Like the browser is crashed. Typically I have to use the Task Manager to get out of SL since log out does not work either.

Right now login appears to hang at preCaching and will go not further or maybe I am just out of patience, its been over 24 hours since I could log in.

The maddening part of this is after a couple days my Aura Lily avatar can log in with the same ease as my other two. I have sent my dx_diag.txt file that suggested I update my nVidia drivers to the current version. I did it but this is obviously not the problem since the other two accounts use the same PC / video card. I have deleted 25% of my inventory, I thought this may have fixed it but last weeks rolling restart as well as the one yesterday have me stuck again. The generic solutions that were offered did nothing except waste time.

Support is obviously understaffed and/or over tasked with more important issues. I filed the first report for this issue over 2 months ago. Two of the Support people have logged in my avatar and have seen this first hand.

I will try anythiing now. Please help!

One thing i am going to do if i ever get logged in again is archive another 25% of my inventory, I think the current count is around 15k items.

And this only happens after the last sim your were on gets restarted?

There is quite a bit of avatar information that gets stored on the sim. Some basic appearance stuff and attachment states get stored for a while in sort of a miniature sim-local asset server. Perhaps one of those items is subtly corrupted and that shows through when the sim saves state, reboots, and reloads? That it gets better on its own after a couple of days really makes me think it could be something like those.

What you can try as an experiment: if you know ahead of time that a restart will be coming, take off all your usual wearables, shape, attachments, everything, and dress up as Ruth or some other generic avatar that has none of your usual wearables before you log out. If that makes the problem go away, you would still need to learn which one of your regular wearables is borked, but at least it would give support a specific problem to look for.
