Did I spell that right? LOL

I was wondering if it would be possible to keep existing caches untouched when upgading the client? My dsl is a bit on the slow side, and having to redownload everything is a pain, however, I can see some possible reasons why this might be needed (a new rendering system? etc...)

I was also wondering if you (Linden Labs) might want to think about bringing in some of the load from the outside. I know you are familiar with Active Worlds, so what I'm suggesting is, would it be possible to have textures download from the internet? This could possibly free up the servers to do other things (such as increase land and objects available, etc...?)

Also, Is the reason for using primitives, because it reduces rendering times? All you have to keep in the file is the displacements/sizes of the verticies? or is that minimal? (I just wanted to know, I'm actually finding I can do a lot with your system!)

One more, LOL, I was wondering if you have a set idea of how large the average "building" site of each player might be? I've built a big building, about the size I'd be happy in, and would love to "perfect" but I know it's far beyond my means to keep. I suppose other people would have other sizes that they would like to have. So my question is, will the average user really get enough "space" to be happy enough to stay on in SL? It's a potential problem, I think, and so I wanted to bring it up. Other than that, It's been a gas so far!! Thanks for any info you can provide, and you probably already thought of my inquireies, but, if not, ... maybe hosting some things "off linden site" would be a way to give server power to more objects and land?

Thanks again, Love Ingie
