I keep getting the message: "Login Failed. Unable to connect to a simulator." I've tried to login many, many times over the course of a few hours and still no luck. I've never had this problem before. So far I've tried deleting the cache, restarting the computer, logging in under a different sim, and then I even logged in under my husband's account (on the same computer mind you) and that worked. I went back to login with my account, and same issue as before.
Can anyone out there shed some light on this?
Cheers, JD.
*Update* I even tried completely erasing SL and all it's files, re-downloading and re-installing. I STILL can't login. Can someone please help me...?

"Login Failed. Unable to connect to a simulator."
that message sounds like your firewall software is blocking the connection

No, it's not a firewall problem, as I can login with my husband's account on the same computer.
I sent this into Linden Labs (as a login problem ticket) for them to look at. They "hijacked" my account with my permission and got the same message as I did, so it's not my computer at all...
I'll put an update once they resolve the issue and tell me what happened.

Back to Normal

Well everything is back to normal thanks to the quick work by the Lindens. Here was the answer I got:
I have found what was wrong, you were having a group active which contained invalid characters and our login script 'choked' on them. I have removed these characters and tested your account again. You should now be able to login again. I am sorry for the inconvenience.
Regards, Data Linden
