I just loaded version 1.19.1(4) and clicked "allow streaming media" as the choice was presented upon entering. Immediately I could see only the custon hair that I was wearing; my entire avitar was otherwise invisible to me. I tried changing skins, clothing etc but nothing changed.
I went somewhere there were a half-dozen other people, and could only see their hair, and sometimes shoes. Otherwise they were entirely invisible. I WAS visible to them, so its a question of my installation or setting.
Also, ONLY avitars and their clothing were invisible. Places, terrain, objects all appeared normal.
I uninstalled and reinstalled 2nd Life twice with no change.
I cleared teh cache, and also clicked reset in the edit menu, with no change.
Has anyone else encountered this, and how did they solve it?
