Can't turn off streaming Media from Jukebox

Hello,

I have a Wurlizter jukebox which seemed very nice until I played the radio through it. Now I am completely unable to shut off the streaming media. I have deleted the jukebox from the room, logged out, and restarted my Mac. Toggled the streaming media on & off in pref's. But it just keeps playing. I have one in my inventory which I can drag out if I need it in order to execute a command.

I have already tried several commands typed into chat.

I noted that the menu with station selection did not have a stop or off command, and it doesn't appear to change stations either. If I clear out the cache in prefs, what will I lose, and will this help?

Just delete the stream from the media tab of about land.

Right after I posted I found a note card from NCI which gave me and explanation and a list of urls to substitute. So I had the option to replace the media in world>about land>media. Now I have it set to a UK blues station. Thanks to NCI . .

Sometimes, the media can keep playing from Cache, even when you have turned off the device. It stops when you walk outside the parcel and or tp out, and will always stop when you relog.

With standard media players in SL that use the land based media pipelines, clearing the url doesn't always work. For some reason, LL think you should have a media texture in the media tab if you have a receiver deeded somewhere and will load a texture it THINKS is right, especiallly with rollbacks. I have seen examples where a wallpaper texture and even a solid colour (white in this one case) was placed in the media tab and movies playing all over the sim/parcel caused crashes in ppls clients and almost brought down the sim.

This never happens when using the Silver Stream network media players/screens, as they do not use the standard media pipelines in the same way.
